These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Dora Milaje Academy’s training, events, resources, and other related services (“Services”). By booking, attending, or engaging with Dora Milaje Academy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Dora Milaje Academy is an educational and training initiative that provides specialist courses, workshops, and events designed to equip individuals, organisations, and communities with tools for safeguarding, domestic abuse awareness, and related topics.

• All bookings for training or events must be made via our official platforms or through direct arrangements confirmed in writing.
   
• Payment is required in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
   
• Prices for Services are listed clearly at the point of booking and may be subject to change.
   

• By Participant:
   
  • Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event or training will receive a full refund.
     
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event are non-refundable.
     
• By Dora Milaje Academy:
   
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any event or training. If this occurs, participants will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to a new date.
     
• Refunds will be processed within 14 working days.
   

• Participants are expected to engage respectfully during training, events, or discussions.
   
• Disruptive, abusive, or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in removal without refund.
   
• For online events, participants are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and suitable device access.
   

• Certificates of attendance or completion may be issued upon request, where applicable.
   
• Unless otherwise stated, training does not confer formal accreditation, professional qualification, or endorsement beyond attendance/participation.
   

• All course materials, presentations, recordings, and resources provided by Dora Milaje Academy remain the intellectual property of Dora Milaje Academy unless otherwise stated.
   
• Materials must not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.
   
• Participants may use resources for personal and organisational learning but not for commercial resale or training delivery without explicit permission.
   

• Any personal data collected during booking or participation will be handled in line with our [Privacy Policy].
   
• By booking, you consent to the use of your data for purposes directly related to your participation in training and events.
   
• Events may be recorded for internal training or promotional use, but participants will be notified in advance.
   

• We are committed to providing accessible training and events. Participants with accessibility needs are encouraged to contact us in advance.
   
• Safeguarding is central to our ethos. Any concerns raised during training or events will be handled in line with our safeguarding policy.
   

• Dora Milaje Academy accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by participants during or after training/events, except where caused by our negligence.
   
• Advice, guidance, or information provided during training is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional legal, medical, or safeguarding advice.
   

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
   
• Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
